. ENGLISH DESCRIPTION
Everything changed the day Miss Edelmira Casanova announced, with her finger raised, that Mother's Day was the most important date of the year. I, Clara, couldn't hold back the urge to bite my tongue: That's not true, I murmured. Some of us are lucky enough to have two moms.
And so, this story began, when a few months earlier my dad had come home with a woman in mismatched scarves and a suitcase full of mysteries. Her name was Luisa and she was supposed to become my almost-almost mom. The interesting thing is that Luisa wasn't an ordinary woman. She was an actress, a collector of impossible turbans, and she hid a big secret that I discovered one night, peeking through a crack. And then came the wig shops, the trips to Egypt, Marie Antoinette's cakes, and a phrase that changed my destiny: Lights, camera, action!
