Metrica Historia, Sagrada Profana Y General Del Mundo, subtitled 'Sus Tres Primeras Edades, Sobre El Libro Del Génesis...', presents a historical account of the world's first three ages, drawing heavily from the Book of Genesis. Written by Bernabe Rebolledo de Palafox, this work blends sacred and secular history in a poetic format. The text explores themes of creation, early civilizations, and the unfolding of divine providence through the ages. This historical narrative, rendered in metric form, offers a unique perspective on the intersection of religious belief and historical understanding, appealing to readers interested in both religious studies and historical poetry. It provides insight into the worldview and literary style of its time, reflecting the historical and cultural context of its creation.
