Jesús creció como cualquier otro niño: reÃa, jugaba y ayudaba a su familia. Pero también era diferente. Nunca hizo nada malo. Siempre fue bondadoso, siempre amable y siempre dispuesto a ayudar. TenÃa poder para sanar a los enfermos, dar vista a los ciegos y calmar grandes tormentas con solo Su palabra. Pero lo más maravilloso de Jesús no fueron Sus milagros, sino Su amor.
Jesús no solo amó a quienes eran buenos con Él. Amó a todos: a los pobres y a los ricos, a los jóvenes y a los ancianos, a las personas de su pueblo y también a los extranjeros. Pasaba tiempo con quienes otros ignoraban. Les enseñaba por medio de parábolas para que comprendieran cuánto Dios se preocupaba por ellos. Y no solo hablaba de amor; lo demostraba cada dÃa.
Jesús nos ama porque somos hijos de Dios. Desde el principio del mundo, Dios creó al ser humano a Su imagen. Eso significa que fuimos hechos para amar, para hacer el bien y para reflejar Su bondad. Aunque cometamos errores, Jesús sigue amándonos. Él vino para ayudarnos a volver a Dios.
Su amor nunca se rinde. Es un amor tan grande que dio Su vida por nosotros. Murió en la cruz para que nuestros pecados fueran perdonados. Pero la historia no terminó allÃ. Al tercer dÃa resucitó. Jesús vive hoy y quiere ser nuestro amigo para siempre.
