Quién es Jesús y por qué nos ama tanto?
Hace mucho, muchÃsimo tiempo - más de dos mil años!- nació un bebé muy especial en un pequeño pueblo llamado Belén. Su nombre era Jesús, y no era un bebé cualquiera. Era el Hijo de Dios, enviado desde el Cielo para vivir en la Tierra. Dios tenÃa un gran plan: querÃa mostrarle al mundo cuánto nos ama, y Jesús fue la manera perfecta de hacerlo.
Jesús creció como cualquier niño: jugaba, reÃa y ayudaba a su familia. Pero también era diferente: nunca hizo nada malo. Siempre fue amable, siempre fue tierno y siempre estuvo dispuesto a ayudar. TenÃa el poder de sanar a los enfermos, hacer que los ciegos vieran y hasta calmar tormentas con solo usar su voz. Pero lo más maravilloso de Jesús no fueron sus milagros, sino su amor.
Jesús no solo amaba a quienes eran buenos con Él. Amaba a todos: a los pobres, a los ricos, a los jóvenes, a los ancianos, a la gente de su pueblo y hasta a los extranjeros. Se acercaba a quienes otros ignoraban. Les contaba historias -llamadas parábolas- para ayudarles a comprender cuánto los amaba Dios. Y no solo hablaba de amor, lo demostraba cada dÃa.
Pero por qué Jesús nos ama tanto?
Porque somos hijos de Dios. Desde el principio del mundo, Dios creó a las personas a su imagen. Eso quiere decir que tú y yo fuimos hechos para amar, hacer el bien y vivir con bondad. Aunque todos cometemos errores ( y todos lo hacemos!), Jesús nos sigue amando. Él sabe que no somos perfectos, y por eso vino a mostrarnos el camino de regreso a Dios.
El amor de Jesús es un amor que nunca se rinde. Es tan fuerte que estuvo dispuesto a dar su propia vida por nosotros. Murió en la cruz para que nuestros pecados fueran perdonados. Pero la historia no terminó ahÃ! Tres dÃas después, Jesús resucitó. Está vivo hoy, y quiere ser nuestro amigo para siempre.
Cuando conoces a Jesús, comienzas a descubrir cuán grande es su amor. Es como el océano: profundo, inmenso y sin final. Es un amor que perdona cuando nos equivocamos, que nos consuela cuando estamos tristes y que llena nuestro corazón de esperanza y alegrÃa.
