Constantino fundó la Iglesia católica. En Nicea se eligieron los libros de la Biblia. Jesús fue convertido en Dios mediante una votación. Estas afirmaciones se repiten tanto que han adquirido apariencia de verdad histórica.

Constantino no creó la Iglesia, la Biblia ni la divinidad de Jesús. Su verdadera importancia fue otra: encontró una Iglesia perseguida y dejó tras de sà una Iglesia cada vez más cercana al poder.
