Y oÃa canciones y los dichos populares y me gustaba mucho la conversación, escribió el propio Arreola, una de las mayores voces, junto a Juan Rulfo, de la literatura mexicana contemporánea.

And I listened to songs and popular sayings and I liked the conversation very much, wrote Arreola himself, one of the greatest voices, along with Juan Rulfo, of contemporary Mexican literature.
