Yehoshuah de Nazareth retrace la vie d'un jeune initié juif, connu plus tard sous le nom de Jésus, et considéré comme le fondateur du christianisme. Ce roman plonge le lecteur dans la Palestine du premier siècle, une terre occupée par les Romains et marquée par des tensions sociales, politiques et religieuses.
Né dans la modeste bourgade de Nazareth, Yehoshuah grandit entouré de sa famille aimante: sa mère Miriam, son père Joseph, et ses frères et soeurs. En apprenant les traditions et les enseignements religieux de la synagogue, il commence à questionner les structures de pouvoir et les injustices qu'il perçoit.
Au fil des années, Yehoshuah se forge des amitiés avec des jeunes partageant ses idéaux révolutionnaires, comme Simon, et rencontre des maîtres tels Jean le Baptiste. Ses premières actions contre les injustices locales et ses sermons en Galilée attirent rapidement des foules, fascinées par sa vision d'une société fondée sur la justice, la compassion et la solidarité.
