La serie Aprende Viola Rápido (ViolÃn, Viola, Cello y Contrabajo) está diseñada para ayudar tanto a los estudiantes como a los profesores a aprender a tocar este hermoso instrumento lo más rápido posible. Este recurso se puede utilizar junto con cualquier otro método o enfoque para aprender a tocar un instrumento musical. Se te anima a seguir los libros tal como están o saltar de un tema a otro en función de las necesidades del estudiante, y omitir cualquier parte que no se considere necesaria o apropiada para la situación y el estudiante. Basándome en mi experiencia, la lógica detrás de los libros es la siguiente:
Desarrollar habilidades motoras finas y gruesas para tocar la viola correctamente lleva tiempo.
Al aprender todos los aspectos de la música y el movimiento desde el principio, los estudiantes desarrollan una comprensión mucho mejor de cómo crear música hermosa y están preparados para habilidades más desafiantes más adelante en su recorrido.
Las habilidades deben ser explicadas, practicadas en ejercicios sencillos, luego en canciones simples, seguidas de nuevos materiales y música.
Todas las habilidades básicas para tocar la viola deben aprenderse lo más rápido posible. Esto se logra mediante la inclusión de explicaciones, diagramas, ejercicios sencillos, practicados en música familiar (como canciones folclóricas como Twinkle), seguidos de material nuevo y más desafiante.
El Libro 1 tiene como objetivo enseñar tanto de la mecánica de la música y el cuerpo como sea posible, mientras el estudiante está desarrollando la fuerza muscular para tocar durante perÃodos prolongados de tiempo. Se pone énfasis en entender cómo funcionan la música y la viola, mientras se aprende a puntear y tocar música sencilla con el arco.
El Libro 2 tiene como objetivo asegurarse de que el estudiante se sienta cómodo leyendo música y tiene la capacidad de crear un sonido hermoso mientras mantiene el control de la tensión muscular y buenas posiciones al tocar. Al aumentar la dificultad de la mano izquierda demasiado rápido, se proliferan malos hábitos como la tensión muscular excesiva y la mala postura y posición de las manos, complicando innecesariamente el camino del músico a largo plazo. Si el estudiante no puede tocar afinado, con buen sonido y tono, música simple con los dedos izquierdos en las cintas, no deberÃa pasar a material más desafiante. De ahà la abundancia de ejercicios y música sencilla en los dos primeros libros.
El Libro 3 tiene como objetivo enseñar e introducir la mayorÃa de las habilidades que el estudiante necesita para tocar música más desafiante, de una manera sencilla con explicaciones, música sencilla y mucha práctica.
