The Sources Of Tyndales Version Of The Pentateuch is a book written by John Rothwell Slater and published in 1906. This book is a detailed analysis of the sources used by William Tyndale in his translation of the Pentateuch, which is the first five books of the Old Testament. Slater examines the original Hebrew text and compares it to Tyndales translation, identifying the specific sources that Tyndale used to create his version. The book also includes an introduction that provides historical context on the development of the English Bible and the role that Tyndale played in its creation. This book is a valuable resource for scholars and anyone interested in the history of the English Bible and the translation process. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
