I was very intrigued by what it might be like for an intelligence living in service, how they might grow, and the complexity and troubles they may have in their development and day-to-day life. Issues of love, sexuality, loyalty, and even depression are all dealt with, and even the question of whether any of it is even real if the one experiencing these emotions is not.
