A Son of the Immortals is a novel written by Louis Tracy. The book tells the story of a young man named Michael Fane, who is the son of an Englishman and an Indian princess. Michael grows up in India but is eventually sent to England to receive a proper education. While in England, Michael falls in love with a young woman named Muriel Sinclair. However, their relationship is complicated by the fact that Michael is not accepted by English society due to his mixed heritage. Michael's father, who is a wealthy and influential man, tries to help his son overcome these obstacles, but Michael ultimately decides to return to India. The novel explores themes of identity, prejudice, and the clash of cultures. It offers a vivid portrayal of life in India during the early 20th century and provides a compelling look at the challenges faced by individuals who are caught between two worlds.1909. Tracy (who also wrote under the pseudonym Gordon Holmes) was a prolific novelist and mystery writer.
