Author Scott C. Werbelow has produced yet another very fascinating book in his five-book series Son of a Poacher. You literally can't make this stuff up. Son of a Poacher V- Oh, the Hell Ya Say! is a must read. This book tails off of Son of a Poacher IV- These Hills Have Eyes and continues his autobiographical 33-year journey as a Wyoming Game Warden in Northwest Wyoming. The setting of this book takes place in the Pinedale/Jackson region from 2007-2014. The game warden stories that are told in this book will leave the reader wondering how Scott ever survived the many dangerous situations that he got himself into. From charging grizzly bears to being attacked by a wild turkey, this book has it all. Readers are going to love the recounting of the author's actual on the job experiences, dealing with all the things that a game warden does on a daily basis. Scott would end up applying for his dream job as the Pinedale regional wildlife supervisor. Find out if he got this position or not? And, everything that he went through after applying, including a divorce with his wife Lana after twenty-four years of marriage.
Not missing in this book, is the authors hilarious humor which allows for a light-hearted read and further enjoyment. You will laugh, you will cry, and wonder how he ever survived all the years as a Wyoming game warden/supervisor. Scott C. Werbelow now resides with his Wife Kim in the little western town of Meeteetse Wyoming. After 33 years of service. When asked if Scott will continue writing more true and crazy stories of a Wyoming game warden, he replied, I think I may have one more book in me, and then all of my stories will be told. At least the ones that I can tell without getting someone divorced or fired. If you have followed Scott's first fourteen years of his incredible journey in his last four books, this is a must read.
