While her classmates rush, cram, and panic before every test, Zahra does something different. Two sharpened pencils. Notebook open to yesterday's date. A little each day, always reviewed before moving on. She calls it the Steady Plan - and everyone calls her Tortoise.

But when the biggest exams of the year arrive, when Benny looks pale and Priya is shaking and Leo falls asleep at his desk, Zahra makes tea. She has already done the work. And when her highest marks ever come back on a Tuesday, she doesn't feel surprised. She feels something quieter - like finding a thing exactly where you left it.
