One small bar in the middle of a wasteland causes the patrons to rethink the point of existence. A quirky bartender seems to keep the place on its tippy toes with a drink and a listening ear.
As time progresses in the Millhouse, they get to know each other and a dark impression begins to sink in. But not crazed enough to actually want to leave the odd paradise.
The bartender, Friedrich, becomes the man with every answer as more questions are imposed on him. He seems to do more than what's logical based on his announced presentation in his prior job description to everyone's confusion.
Why are the patrons there? Can they escape? Where have they wandered to? What is Friedrich? Man or beast?
