The idea for this book came about when the author met this character in person. He did so many silly things around her and had so many crazy stories of his childhood that after a while of being around him, she realized that his adult life was not much different than his childhood. He would still do silly things even as an adult and with all the stories building up, she just couldn't resist. Here you have the beginning of Stevie's life as a child made into a children's book based on his stories and all the author's experience from just being around him. This is where The Adventures of Silly Stevie came to life.
