Brandy's story began when she was brought into the Navarro County Animal Shelter after being found on a lonely country road. She had been at the shelter for two months with no hope in sight for a permanent home when a couple enters the shelter looking for just the right puppy. They had visited many shelters in the area, but did not find a dog that they bonded with. This was their last visit to any shelter before disbanding the idea of seeking a replacement for the cocker spaniel they had just lost. The journey from shelter life to a new home with loving owners begins at this point for Brandy. The story is based on true happenings during adoption and since she has been in their home. A fun story embellished from a dog's point of view. One that just wrote itself as the author observed Brandy and her day to day adventures. A story you will want to pass on to others to share the fun and love within its pages.
