One small act of kindness can change everything . . .
From New York Times bestselling author Adam Wallace comes the story of Andrew de Grot, also known as the Share-a-Not.
No matter what he had, it was never enough. In a town of monsters who each treasure their very own pet rock, the Share-a-Not can't resist gathering more . . . and more . . . and more. By the time he graduates high school, he has 104 rocks to his name and is still convinced it isn't enough!
When he spots a child with four special rocks, he knows he must have them. But the discovery of a whole hill filled with rocks sparks his biggest plan yet: to claim every last one for himself. Just as the Share-a-Not is ready to take more than his share, one thoughtful monster tries something unexpected--a little kindness.
Told with lively, rhythmic text and a wink of humor, The Share-a-Not is a delightfully clever story about the power of kindness. Perfect for read-alouds, this whimsical tale shows young readers that sharing doesn't take things away, it brings us together.
