When I was a little girl we got a Beagle puppy. He was named Seward's Folly. William Seward, Secretary of State for President Lincoln, aided the USA in buying the Alaskan Territory. It was called Seward's Folly. Daddy named our dog for his relative. Seward was a great puppy going everywhere with us and sleeping in my bed! I am a Grandmother now. I like to garden, sew, and give books to family and friends. Seward books have been donated to City and School Libraries. Seward's Adventures can be found in the USO Lounges at National Airports and the Library of Congress. I hope you enjoy reading about my dog and all the fun we had.
