ABOUT THE AUTHORS

The Veiled Poet is an anonymous writer who began this poetic journey four years ago, sharing work under the pen name on Instagram (@theveiledpoet_). For TVP, poetry is a way to express what flows straight from the heart-a vessel for complex thoughts and experiences that cannot be captured through simple words.

TVP believes in crafting words that carry their own individuality, even free from the writer's identity. The complexity in TVP's writing stems from both personal experiences and observations of the world, as well as a creative imagination that often leads TVP to adopt various characters in poetry or prose.

Standing Between Sunshine & Rain is TVP's first poetry collection-a collaborative effort with co-author Alchemoet-born from a deep desire to weave words into a cloak of poetry that gently embraces and warms the hearts that touch it.

Alchemoet is a Canadian writer who believes that everyday words can be laced with emotions to craft unique, artistic masterpieces. Her writings encompass a wide range of topics from both fiction and nonfiction genres.

The debut poetry collection, Standing Between Sunshine and Rain: A Poetic Journey Through Emotions, written alongside The Veiled Poet, elaborates on their witnessed and personal experiences with a variety of emotions that we, as humans, often encounter.
