When Joe, a cop who has never taken a day off in twenty five years, suddenly calls in sick, his partner Mal instantly assumes there is more to it. Finding Joe at his home, tired, dishevelled and clearly, visibly shaken, Mal begins to worry. With good cause.

Joe's absence and shattered mental state can be traced back to a case file and the video that came with it. The video of a strange ritual, an occult practice and a prank gone horribly wrong.

If you have ever repeated the words 'Bloody Mary' or 'Candyman' into a mirror and wondered where such traditions come from, then 'Seeing Lucifer's Smile' will answer your questions. Just take care how far you push those answers and watch what you say, in front of the mirror.
