Securities and Dividends of a Banker's Daughter is a novel written by Marjorie Wiggin Prescott. The story follows the life of a young woman named Anne, the daughter of a wealthy banker. Anne is a bright and ambitious young woman who dreams of making a name for herself in the world of finance. However, her father is determined to keep her sheltered from the harsh realities of the business world.Despite her father's wishes, Anne begins to pursue her dreams, taking on a job at a financial firm and learning the ropes of the industry. Along the way, she faces many challenges and obstacles, including sexism and discrimination from her male colleagues. As Anne navigates the ups and downs of her career, she also grapples with personal relationships and the expectations of her family. She falls in love with a fellow banker, but their relationship is threatened by his disapproving family and her own father's objections.Throughout the novel, Anne learns the value of hard work, determination, and independence, and ultimately finds success in both her personal and professional life.Securities and Dividends of a Banker's Daughter is a compelling tale of a young woman's journey to find her place in the world, and the challenges she faces along the way. It offers a unique perspective on the world of finance and the struggles that women have faced in this traditionally male-dominated industry. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
