This book is definitely one of a kind. It offers an amazing range of information about the Rubik's Cube(R), including how it can be quickly solved, but, more importantly, the authors explain how the cube can be used as a physical model to simulate reality on the quantum, human and cosmic levels, and how this feature can be an effective tool for problem solving in real-life situations. The lead author, Dr. Edward R. Close, educated as a mathematician, physicist, and environmental engineer, has also pioneered a credible method of including consciousness in the scientific approach to solving problems. Dr. Close and his wife, Jacquelyn, a registered aromatherapist with the National Association of Holistic Aromatherapists (NAHA), and certified instructor with the Center for Aromatherapy Research and Education (CARE), have spent more than 40 years in independent research in consciousness studies, and the last ten years in collaboration with several prominent researchers and academic organizations on the cutting edge of the new field of psycho-bio-physics, as defined by Dr. Vernon M. Neppe, a world-renowned MD, psychiatrist and neuroscientist. The theme of this book is that the experiences of life are governed by universal laws, and that those laws are mathematically reflected in the laws discovered, and also yet-to-be discovered, by scientific inquiry into the nature of reality. Events relevant to the theme of the book, recounted from the authors' personal experiences, include both of them being struck by lightning, the psychic revelation of spiritual connections, and experiences that underline and reveal the depth and strength of their love for each other, spanning a number of lives remembered by both of them. Secrets of the Sacred Cube, a Cosmic Love Story, delivers unexpected insights into the workings of the cube, revealing how it can be used to simulate the dimensional aspects of matter, energy, space, time, and consciousness. Treating existence as a holistic nine-dimensional experiential reality that can be modeled using the cube, the authors discuss how common patterns occur and re-occur in the process of solving the cube, similar to the way patterns occur and re-occur in the human experience of reality. Surprising topics raised as re-occurring patterns of reality are discussed in detail in the book, include meaning and purpose of life, reincarnation, good and evil, spirituality, and love.
