The Secret Ritual of the Knights of the Ancient Essenic Order is a book written by C.J. Weatherby that delves into the mysterious and secretive world of the Essenes, an ancient Jewish sect that existed during the time of Jesus Christ. The book provides a detailed account of the rituals and practices of the Knights of the Ancient Essenic Order, a modern-day organization that claims to be descended from the original Essenes. The author draws on historical and archaeological evidence, as well as his own personal experiences with the Knights, to reveal the inner workings of this enigmatic group. He describes their initiation ceremonies, their beliefs and philosophy, and their code of conduct. The book also includes a translation of the Essene Gospel of Peace, a text that is said to have been written by Jesus himself and which contains teachings on living a peaceful and harmonious life.Overall, The Secret Ritual of the Knights of the Ancient Essenic Order offers a fascinating glimpse into a world that is shrouded in mystery and intrigue. It is a must-read for anyone interested in the history of the Essenes, as well as those who are curious about the practices and beliefs of modern-day secret societies.Reprint of the rare 1897 edition. Don't confuse this ritual with the so-called code-books of the Modern Order of Essenes (Freemasonry) because this is something different! These rituals of this non-masonic order inculcate patriotism, opposition (by lawful means) to tyranny and the discovery of the laws of God. Includes the opening and closing ceremonies and the ritual of the three degrees. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
