This workbook and journaling devotional was born out of the life I've lived with Him in the secret place. For me, this isn't theory, it's the place I've met Him over and over again. It's where I've cried and listened, where I've laid down dreams and picked up peace, where His whisper became the steady rhythm that carried me through the hardest seasons. The secret place isn't a moment I discovered once; it's the life I've learned to dwell in, a daily abiding with the One who knows me best and loves me most.
Through these pages, I want to invite you into that same kind of closeness. This study walks alongside the story of the Shunammite woman in 2 Kings 4-the woman who built a room for God's presence in her home. Her story mirrors what I've experienced in my own walk: learning how to prepare space for Him, to make room in the ordinary and the hard places, and to trust that His presence changes everything. The Shunammite didn't just make a room for the prophet Elisha, she made a place for God to dwell. And when she did, everything that once felt barren came alive again.
This workbook is designed to help you slow down and experience that same invitation. You'll find guided reflections, journaling prompts, and Scripture-based devotionals that help you not just read about God, but rest with Him. My hope is that each lesson feels like sitting together across the table-two hearts open, Bibles spread out, listening for the same gentle voice that never stops speaking.

His presence isn't something you have to strive for; it's a reality you get to rest in. The same God who met the Shunammite woman in her room meets us now in ours. And when you make room for Him, He fills every empty corner with Himself.
The secret place isn't about discovering Him for the first time.
It's about returning to the One who's been there all along-faithful, near, and waiting for you to simply come and rest.
