Every Monday, the children in Miss Lily's class share their weekend stories.
This week, Sebastian tells the class about a special day at his Nanna's house, where the whole family gathers to make traditional Maltese pastizzi. As Sebastian learns to fold the pastry, he discovers that family recipes take patience, practice, and plenty of love.
Filled with warm illustrations and a heartwarming story, Sebastian's Pastizzi Day celebrates Maltese culture, family traditions, and the joy of cooking together. Perfect for children aged 3-8, this beautifully illustrated picture book encourages curiosity, kindness, and an appreciation of the many cultures that make Australia unique.
Part of the Weekend Stories series, where every child has a story to share and every culture has something special to celebrate.
