SEAL is a poetic sequence about what remains when the structure that once held a life in place begins to loosen.
Moving through four movements, Misalignment, Final Rites, Off Axis, and Closure, the poems trace the quiet withdrawal of a center. Attachment shifts. Familiar rhythms lose their force. What once seemed necessary becomes something that can finally be released.
These poems do not offer resolution through triumph or recovery. They stay with the quieter movement of change: the moment a structure stops holding, the body steps away, and a life begins to occupy a different position.
Nothing here is resolved by force.
Some things simply stop turning.
