Scars of Mortals

Seth

We were high school sweethearts. I protected her, always.

Until one night changed everything.

My sister. Her best friend. Gone.

Grief swallowed me whole, and I did the only thing I could, I left.

Now, years later she's back, like nothing's changed.

But she's with him.

I should walk away.

But I've never been good at following the rules.

Abigail

Seth was my first love. My safe place.

Until one night everything shattered.

No goodbye. No explanation. Just silence.

Now, years later, the past we buried is rising like a storm.

And Seth? He wants me back.

I made a mistake and no matter what I do, someone is going to get hurt.

Even if it's me.
