I read a lot, from Nicholas Sparks and Nora Roberts to Stephen King, and this story checked all the boxes for me. There's a great romance mixed in with a fascinating mystery and even a touch of the supernatural. As for the ending it was PERFECT. As in happy tears perfect. I first came across this author after reading his big hit The Irish Cowboy. As good as that one was, I actually think Savage is even better. -Kari Boury
