Despite her initial reluctance, Virginia finds herself falling in love with Satan and discovers that he is not the cruel and heartless man she believed him to be. However, their happiness is short-lived as Virginia's jealous ex-fianc����� and Satan's vengeful ex-wife conspire to tear them apart. The novel explores themes of love, jealousy, and redemption, and is a classic example of early 20th-century romantic fiction.1908. As a novelist she wrote several best sellers.
