Barbara Fannin was born May 7, 1981 in Great Lakes, Illinois, to a military family. After moving around for most of her adolescent life, she and her family settled down in Valdosta, Georgia where she married. In 2006 Barbara gave birth to her fourth child, a son who passed away when he was eight weeks old. Less than twenty-four hours later she lost her mother as well. Since then she has been blessed to use this experience to reach out to those who are torn apart by tragedy in their lives. In this book she is able to show anyone who is in the middle of one or coming out of it how to overcome what the devil has meant as a strong hold praising our great God with hands held high. Happily married she and her husband Daniel live outside Athens Ga, with their four children.
