The Sacraments of Blackgum Lake

Cecil Mears joins his father in repairing the old lakefront cabin where he spent his childhood. But Blackgum Lake refuses to be bucolic; its waters are dark and oppressive, holding secrets. Did the infamous gangster John Dillinger trawl the lake for something terrible? The detritus along its bottom is far more than muck.
