My purpose as a writer is to voice the hidden realities of our society that women have endured for generations. To give courage and empowerment, to finally end these atrocities that deeply blemish our existence, as civilized beings. Some people in countries, such as India and China, still freely go about killing female fetuses and newborn infants. This book is my attempt to save the girl child.
