Ten-year-old Rondi Thinger has the adventure of a lifetime as she tests out the Virtual Reality System invented by her cousins. Mistaken for The Singer, Rondi is invited to enter The EDGE, an alternative world plagued by The Spell of the Golden Guano which can only be broken by someone who can sing Falsetto E. How Rondi accomplishes this feat is a non-stop adventure filled with problem solving, twists and turns, and an unexpected conclusion. The characters are likable and although the story is a fantasy, the situations are realistic and relatable, teaching both Rondi and the middle reader valuable lessons about helping others. The Spell, The Message, The Search and The Quests are the first four books of the Rondi's Virtual Adventures series.
