Rewired, if asked if the book is a collection of raw, unfiltered, unperfected reminders to myself and others? My answer is easy. Absolutely. Written with hope to Encourage others to remove the filter, release judgement of self and others. Dare we sit with ourselves, beside each other, just as we are. Embrace, admire and meet your authentic self without judgement. Embrace each imperfection, mistake, insecurity. Sit with each part of yourself. Unapologetically YOU, as you are. Rewired became a series of written reminders, unpolished moments, reflections, to encourage both myself and others to reflect and widen the lens. Stand up feeling empowered and feel a greater sense of belonging. Placing my words onto paper was not a smooth road. Imperfections, what ifs, typos. So what? Let it all go, feel pride, shine a light on it and unapologetically smile with pride. you matter, your words matter, you are seen. I promise to stand up with my head held high after hitting send, just as I am. My hope is one person reads these pages and in the stillness and silence, feels valued and sense of belonging. May this have a ripple effect. Rewired is a reminder to all: you are seen, loved, worthy, beautiful as you are. Rewired is written with my full heart, encouraging myself and others not shrink, but take up space. Spelling errors, what ifs, hesitation, uncertainty? Beautiful. Shine a light on it and be loud. I continue to navigate my own growth, unlearning is messy. Learning to love new layers of myself? Messy. Finding comfort in the unfamiliar, the uncomfortable. Messy.
