RetroQuest es un juego de rol de mesa pen and paper, basado en un sencillo sistema de d6, diseñado bajo la filosofÃa menos es más reglas tan intuitivas que las recordarás tras una sola sesión, sin sacrificar la profundidad que hace grande a un buen dungeon crawler.
Qué encontrarás en este manual?
- Un sistema de creación de personajes ágil basado en el método conceptual: olvÃdate de razas y clases cerradas, y da vida a cualquier arquetipo que imagines -guerrero, mago, pÃcaro o hÃbrido- con total libertad creativa.
- Reglas de combate rápidas y letales, fieles al espÃritu OSR (Old School Renaissance), donde cada decisión importa y la muerte permanente es parte de la aventura.
- Un completo sistema de generación procedural de mazmorras, con tablas de eventos, trampas, tesoros y monstruos que te permiten improvisar aventuras completas sobre la marcha.
- Reglas para el tiempo entre aventuras: viaja entre asentamientos, gestiona tu oro y mejora tu equipo y habilidades.
- Compatibilidad total con cualquier ambientación que quieras imaginar, ya sea fantasÃa medieval clásica o el escenario más extraño que se te ocurra.
- Puede jugarse en grupo o en solitario, gracias a sus sistemas de generación procedural.
No necesitas tablero, miniaturas ni tokens: solo este manual, un puñado de dados de seis caras, papel y lápiz (o tu móvil), y tu imaginación. RetroQuest cabe en una mochila y puede jugarse en cualquier parte: un bar, un tren, una sala de espera o el salón de tu casa.
Inspirado en referentes del movimiento OSR como Cairn, Into the Odd, Four Against Darkness y Knave, RetroQuest rinde homenaje a los grandes clásicos del género sin renunciar a la agilidad que exigen las mesas de hoy.
