Before Earth existed, something was imprisoned at the center of the universe. It has been waiting to get out.

In the caves beneath Crystal Valley, Texas, a geology student finds an artifact that should have stayed buried. Four graduate students, a mysterious old man with dangerous knowledge, a Texas coastal city with secrets buried since 1990.
