You'll be totally lost in this story if you didn't read the first part of The Reflections Series (Reflections: Journalizing the Life of Morgan Hixon-Chambers). Her first year of marriage was one of many twists and turns; a run in with her husband's ex, a confrontation with her mother, and somewhat of a past relationship almost broke Morgan down. Instead of going to her sister, Logan, as much as she used to, Morgan learned to confide and lean more on her husband Lance; especially when tragedy hit one of their children. The biggest love Morgan possessed was no longer a part of her life. The nightmares of her childhood continued to consume her and an old relationship exposed more of her troubled past in college that lied dormant until she confronted the sources that triggered those awful moments. With every dark part of her past reappearing, Morgan's distorted image of herself she only saw in a mirror left her alone and she was spiritually and emotionally free.
