This book left me emotional in so many ways. It touches on abuse of many kinds, some things I have had to experience in my life. And reading their stories it helped me put some things into perspective. I cried tears of sadness, fear and happiness. It tugged at my heart strings for sure. The twists I didn't see coming, could have never anticipated how it all turned out. Tiffany Brown is a brilliant writer and I loved her first novel, I cant wait for the follow up to this book to be released. Publishing has been a long time coming, and I am so happy she finally took this leap. Reality Check tackled various topics and themes such as sexual assault, mental health, and healing from traumatic experiences. While reading this book, it had me reflect on my experience with having a stalker in late 2015. During that experience, I learned how to be mindful of who I interact with when it comes to men and it took me some time to heal from that.
