Large canines of the Pyrenean Mastiff breed may trace their ancestry all the way back to the Pyrenees, the mountain region that serves as a de facto boundary between France and Spain. - When fully grown, male Pyrenean Mastiffs can weigh up to 220 pounds (100 kilograms) and stand 30 to 32 inches (76 to 81 cm) tall at the shoulder. Women tend to be diminutive.
