It's officially the seventy-sixth day of school and while Rudy and Trevor are on the bus, Rudy noticed someone new. Once at school, he sees the stranger sitting in the front of the room. His name is Jojo, but he looks different from everyone else Rudy knows. He's a small brown mouse, with a striped shirt, and a backwards baseball cap. His best friend is even a stuffed cat. What kind of mouse likes cats!? Jojo endures a lot during his first week of school and when Jojo invites Rudy and the other kids to his birthday party, Rudy has to decide if he will follow the crowd or attend his new friends party. In this book, kids will be introduced to tolerance towards those who look different and have different interests than them. It's a book that could be read within libraries, classroom, and amongst friends. Because friends look different and that's okay!
