Roscoe the Bossy Rooster is a fun and meaningful read! A great book that captures the kid's attention!

Shhh! Do you hear that squawking?! That's Roscoe-red feathers fluffed, tail high-strutting across Peaches Place farm like he's the boss of EVERYONE. Play with ME, he orders the others. Do NOT play with them! Nugget, Chiquita, Odie, Jasmine, Barbie, and Nigel love playing together, singing songs and kicking the soccer ball around. But when Roscoe's bossy rules make everyone stop playing with him, the barnyard turns quiet and lonely. Roscoe realizes being bossy isn't fun at all. With gentle kindness from his patient pals, Roscoe learns to treat others the way he wants to be treated, says I'm sorry, and feels the warm hug of forgiveness as he's welcomed back to play with the whole flock!
