AN AMERICAN EPIC POEM: HIP HOP's FIRST NOVEL IN RHYME! This is a story told entirely thru poetry, with illustrious characters, love and battle sequences, betrayals, heroes and villains. Authored by Teferu Azr, the book is a set of interconnecting poems telling one story. It's a tale of a band of outcasts, poetic rebels without applause.
THE RONIN POETZ: They who serve no master. Staged in a post-apocalyptic era, a band of African Griots set out to cultivate a dying world through their words and preserve their culture. The Griots, led by Father Aquarius and Mother Pisces, embark on a journey of wonder and excitement. Each adventure, ceremony, battle sequence -- and sword swing -- story of love and friendship is told through the poetry of Father Aquarius' and Mother Pisces' third born son: Maa Kheru. This is the saga of the Griots' battle for justice, dignity, and freedom against the nefarious Pale King, his villainous assassin named Tag, his army of Thought Police, and the traitorous Shogun. The best bedtime story you'll ever read, anytime during the day. Cover Art by Ray Cosico
