Over the past decades poverty reduction and environmental protection is considered as only the role of government. Nowadays, there are different stakeholders which are working on different development activities. Among these development activities poverty reduction and environmental protection are the main and Wolaita Development Association (WODA) is community based organization that is highly participating in different development activities in wolaita zone. wolaita Development association have different programs in different part of the zone. Among these programs these book mainly focused on Offa Livelihood security Program in Offa woreda of Wolaiata Zone. The book shows, how far the association is working in sustaining the livelihood of people; that livelihood is based on environmental protection.
