Literacy is a process of development. It is also a continuous and life long
process. It attributes to human development. Literacy makes possible to update one's
knowledge and skill, to acquire new knowledge on job and to prepare for new roles
and responsibilities. Literacy begins at home and continues in school.
The goals of literacy are to utilize the knowledge and skills of the profession
in a corrective manner to rehabilitate individuals to help them to help themselves, so
that they can become part of society and to guide them towards becoming comfortable
with themselves and their associates. It also helps in behavior changes and become
socially acceptable. Illiteracy is an obstacle for the development. In competitive world
