With two passions in life; punk rock and rock climbing, the author and his mates, Bish, Rep and Spiney form a punk rock band, BCT, together with Luscious Lucy and spend weekends in the mountains escaping from their mundane lives. High on the adrenaline buzz from climbing, they lurch from one epic to the next with the freedom of youth and incredible luck on their side.
The tragic and drug related death of Jacko, inspires the author to question what the fatal attraction of the mountains really is and the relationship between the risks on the mountains compared to Jacko's lifestyle. Are they so different? Or merely alternative addictions?
