The Robbers is a play written by German author Friedrich von Schiller. The play tells the story of two brothers, Karl and Franz, who are born into a wealthy family but have very different personalities. Karl is idealistic and rebellious, while Franz is pragmatic and power-hungry. When their father dies, Franz inherits the family fortune and becomes the head of the household.
