Two thousand years ago, John saw a vision of a prostitute dressed like a queen, drunk on the blood of the saints. He was astonished by the sight of her riding a monstrous creature that had the power to crush its enemies. Theologians have settled on the identity of this woman - called Babylon the Great - pointing to Rome, the capital city of the empire that oppressed the Jews and killed Jesus. But they're wrong. There is only one city that fits the biblical description, and it's the most tragic option of all.
Riding the Beast carefully establishes that this Great City must be none other than Jerusalem, in its final stage of corrupt power, and identifies the Beast that carries her as the United States of America; the latest incarnation of a Roman imperial system that has never truly died.
This is not a political screed or a conspiratorial fever dream. It is a verse-by-verse, covenant-by-covenant case built on unrivaled logic. Beginning with the curses of Deuteronomy, tracing the four beasts of Daniel, and arriving at the multi-stage Beast empire in Revelation, author Terry Wolfe challenges the reader to rethink the final warning given to the churches by God, while we still have the freedom to do so.
* * * * Riding The Beast dives much deeper into a specific theory put forward in Terry Wolfe's hugely successful 2020 flagship prophecy study, Maybe Everyone Is Wrong: Revelations, Conspiracy, and the Kingdom of Heaven. It answers important questions like:- What does it mean when God compares Jerusalem to a betrothed wife, or a prostitute?
- What did the Old Testament prophets say about Zion, and do they validate modern Zionism?
- What are beast kingdoms in biblical prophecy, and what makes the fourth and final beast so special?
- Why do the biblical authors compare Jerusalem to Sodom, Egypt, and Babylon?
- What does the union of the Whore of Babylon and the final Beast empire mean for Christianity?
This study is explosive and thought-provoking. You will not only see today's wars in the Middle East in a prophetic light, but gain an appreciation of how Satan has been conspiring for millennia to stop the Jewish people from embracing Jesus Christ as their Messiah, while also holding Jerusalem out of their reach. As the world reaches its climax before the return of our Lord, Terry Wolfe boosts his already strong arguments in favor of strict Christian pacifism, love and tolerance for all people, and full trust in God's sovereign will.
Believers have nothing to be afraid of. The more we understand the prophecies, the more we can wage spiritual war against the false ideologies that drag mankind into misguided violence and conquest. * * * * This book represents a bold hypothesis aimed at glorifying God and studying the mysteries of His wisdom. Various topics of interest include how British Zionism failed to control Israeli settlers; the New Age movement as a covert collapse network bent on eliminating Christians and recruiting Jewish scientists; the Roman Empire's dominion over the world since its supposed collapse; and the logic behind God cursing the Israelites for thousands of years, even to this day. If you enjoy challenging your assumptions and deepening your appreciation of scripture, get your copy and leave a review when you're finished. Early readers have gone as far as calling it a miracle of insight, mind-blowing, and worthy of worldwide attention. * * * * Terry Wolfe is a working-class amateur researcher born and raised in Canada as a Mennonite. Over the years he has made a name for himself pushing the limits of a fundamentalist reading of the Bible, challenging weak traditions, countering political extremism, and encouraging healthy debate over mainstream consensus. Also in
