Poems generated while traveling form a genre of their own. The first section of this collection, written in western Ireland, was first completed in 2011. Poems about other places seemed to form a natural second section. The book was revised in the summer of 2017 as part of an on-going process of listening more intently to the poems with the benefit of time, hindsight, and stronger technique. The results show the power of landscape and place to imprint one's imagination in ways that linger and grow brighter. This latest 2023 revision demonstrates the impact that power continues to have.
