He burned through two marriages and his sons are terrified of becoming him. She spent decades hiding behind a fortune with no substance.
Mick Brady built an engineering empire alongside an equally solid reputation as a cautionary tale. He's a silver fox who knows exactly what his lifelong impulsivity cost the people he loves.
Now he's doing the quiet, unglamorous work of reconstructing his life - relying on a notebook of strict routines just to keep himself steady.
The last thing he needs is a distraction. Let alone one whose son just married into the family.
Celeste Sheffield lost the life she thought she wanted and is rebuilding a connection with the only family she has left. When her son marries into the boisterous, boundary-defying Brady crew, she lands squarely in the path of their handsome, complicated patriarch.
Mick is determined to keep his hands to himself. Celeste is ready to finally explore the feelings she's always repressed. Then an unexpected afternoon with Mick's grandson changes everything.
Suddenly, a lifetime of Mick's so-called flaws clicks into focus.
His entire perspective shifts - and Celeste is right there as steady ground, helping him redraw the blueprint. But as the tension between them becomes impossible to ignore, Mick has to decide whether Celeste is a detour from the man he's becoming - or proof he's finally arrived.
Restoration Plan is a steamy, later-in-life romantic comedy featuring a neurodivergent hero, a heroine learning to trust her truth, and the Brady family's most hard-won love story yet.
