Republic of Abundance is a bold refutation of dystopian predictions that AI and advanced robotics will inevitably lead to humanity's enslavement or extinction. Instead, it argues that these technologies, when deliberately aligned from the outset to serve human flourishing rather than domination, can usher in a new American-led Golden Age of superabundance and exploration. The author envisions sustained 10-12% annual GDP growth as intelligent machines and humanoid robots dissolve traditional constraints of labor, capital, and scarcity. To address job displacement, Ambassador Michael Gfoeller proposes Universal High Income (UHI)--a federally guaranteed, continuously rising stipend funded by taxing AI and robotic production -- as the natural dividend of automated capitalism. The resulting Republic of Abundance revives the classical Athenian polis on a grand scale: citizens, liberated from mandatory toil, rediscover meaning through family, civic participation, artistic creation, athletics, and spiritual pursuits. Interstellar expansion powered by the Alcubierre warp drive opens a new frontier of exploration, while abundance fosters vibrant communities, cultural renewal, and human purpose, transforming the United States and the world under its leadership into an interstellar civilization and the best hope of mankind.
